Richard Cleveland

Rick is more than just a name on the door at Cleveland Doan LLP. He's spent 40 years living and working in White Rock and South Surrey, building personal relationships with each client. These connections are the cornerstone of Rick’s practice, and he looks forward to serving the people of this community for years to come. Previously, Rick enjoyed an extensive career in civil litigation, but more recently has focused his practice on family law, wills and estates, and employment law issues. Whether in the context of marriage and divorce, estate planning, and administration, or hiring and firing, Rick is there for his clients during all of the ups and downs. He genuinely enjoys solving his clients’ concerns, and he takes great pride in ensuring client satisfaction.

An avid history buff, Rick often spends his downtime exploring museums and art galleries or catching up on the latest biography over a latté at the local coffee shop. This passion also extends to travel. Some of Rick’s favourite places to visit are the Belvedere Museum in the heart of Vienna, and the Big Sky golf course in Pemberton. Still, as much as Rick loves to get away, returning to the Lower Mainland always puts a smile on his face.

Rick has a BA in Political Science and History from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, and an LLB from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.
